The concept of 2000s movie makeovers may be ridiculous, but somehow they still live in our heads rent-free. Movie makeovers had us convinced that all it took to be the hottest girl in school is to switch out your glasses for contacts and straighten your curly, unruly hair (yes, we're looking at you AND calling you out, Princess Diaries). Even though we now know that's not exactly how it works, we're still obsessed with the scenes that showed us the original magic of cleaning up our bushy eyebrows to expose our ethereal eyes that nobody possibly could have noticed before when the bushy eyebrows were in the way. Even though having a friend or a stylist do our makeup IRL isn't as dramatic as what we grew up on in the movies, those scenes will stick with us forever.
